Insurance & Fees for Palliative Care Services

Medical Care Services

For the services of medical care only, Dr. Carpenter accepts the following participating insurance plans. For out-of-network visits we can provide forms for you to submit directly to your insurance.

  • Medicare
  • Medicaid
  • United
  • CDPHP
  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross
  • Cigna
  • Nightingale Medical does not accept Fidelis or MVP even if you also have Medicaid
Non-Medical Services

We make it easy and convenient for our patients to receive non-medical support, personally designed for improving quality of life––especially while living with advanced illness, complex health conditions, and consequences of aging.

Non-Medical Services may include deep relaxation and breathing techniques, meditation, yoga therapy, interfaith spiritual care, creative therapy, social work support, end-of-life preparation and guidance, facilitating family meetings, peace-of-mind video conference connections with distant family, and much more.

Based on your personalized “needs and goals assessment” intake meeting, you can determine the services and frequencies of visits that work best for you and your family. As a reference, initial intake for the personalized needs assessment is $250; subsequent non-medical televisits or in-home visits range from $75-150/hr. Although we do not accept insurance for non-medical services, we can provide receipts or forms for you to submit directly to your insurance or accountant.
